I have experience with teaching both children and adults, both formally and informally. Some things I have taught: Reading and writing, music (guitar, singing, songwriting), arts and crafts, herbal medicine making and wildcrafting, family history, local history, disability awareness, and spirituality.
My very first work experiences were in childcare and education. Being a child of an elementary educator, it has always seemed natural to me to seek after learning opportunities and share them with others. I have participated in education as a lifelong student, assistant teacher, workshop leader, and discussion panel presenter on topics ranging from adult spirituality to children's television.
Homeschooling.. priv school.. pub school.. IEP.. one thing in common: Parents have a responsibility to supplement education from day one, and children have a right to direct the focus of their supplemental education based on their personal interests and talents.
